Ralen Voss

Overview

Ralen Voss serves as a Section Commander in the Polity Protection Service of Lastor. He oversees field teams on high-risk missions, manages on-site reports and coordinates with the Aerial Surveillance Grid and the City Security Service for rapid perimeter isolation. Raised within a culture of regulations and documentation, he views the protection of the polity as both a professional duty and a personal mission.

Ralen Voss

Background

Formerly an operations analyst, he transitioned into field command when he was assigned to “close loops” in politically sensitive cases. He became known for refusing to close a file without full documentation, even under pressure to deliver fast results.

Personality

Voss is methodical, calm and laconic. He speaks little but records everything meticulously. He distinguishes noise from signal with ease and “reads” traces both on screens and in physical environments. He does not grant personal favors and avoids shortcuts. His principles are non-negotiable, stability above all, yet he despises crude arbitrariness and political interference in operations.

Current Outlook

A looming confrontation with corruption inside the system begins to plant fractures in his certainties. He starts to question whether concentrated power inevitably produces corruption. These cracks may eventually turn him into a supporter of political reforms aimed at limiting the influence of closed circles and restoring institutional clarity.

Notable Detail

Nyssa Kendis, who appears at the Nightpoint, is one of his undercover subordinates in low-visibility monitoring operations.
