Role in the Corp
Soreth is a warrior, but also something deeper. He belongs to the ancient generation of Corpers trained to guard truth rather than power. He is part of a small circle with access to the memory of the First and to archives unseen by any external authority. His role is not tied to command but to awareness. He represents the part of the Corp that refuses silence when rulers stray from their purpose.

When he confronts High One Aldrek Jornval, Soreth does not seek submission. He warns him of the fracture that has opened and of the darkness that will follow if he continues to serve the wrong masters.
