Aldrek Jornval

Overview

Aldrek Jornval is primar of Odravar and later High One of the Order of the One. He is a man of loud voice and commanding presence who embodies the power and political resolve of the theocratic regime.

Role

As the new High One he uses the rhetoric of fear and faith to consolidate authority. He steers the Order toward open confrontation with the Liberal Alliance and presents every decision as a divine mandate.

Personality

Ambitious and cruel, he believes in himself more than in the Divine. He knows how to inspire the faithful and manipulate the crowd. He maintains a careful balance between theological authority and political control. From Odravar he exercises power as High One, temporarily unifying the council under his leadership and directing the Order toward war with the stated purpose of striking Kether and blaming the Liberal Alliance for its condition.
