Raiken Soroyoto
Overview
Raiken Soroyoto is the current Emperor of Sorestia and the younger brother of the deposed Akirado. He ascended the throne after a period of military unrest and betrayal, presenting himself as the guardian of order and imperial strength. His rule is marked by severity, discipline and fear, but also by strategic capability that few can dismiss.

Authority and Politics
Raiken governs with absolute control. His decisions are unquestioned and his authority extends across every world of the empire. Despite his arrogance and strictness he is not a blind tyrant. He has shown moments of harsh justice, as when he ordered the punishment of those responsible for the Tettari genocide, an action that helped secure the ceasefire agreement and brought an end to the SUN–LAP war.
Personality
He is cold and calculating, viewing power as a mathematical balance of fear and obedience. He trusts no one, neither generals nor advisers. His nights are filled with anxiety and shadow, for he knows the people still remember Akirado with affection.
Legacy
To his supporters Raiken is the savior who kept the empire united. To his enemies he is the man who extinguished the light of his own blood to rule. No one knows whether he fears his external foes more, or the lingering ghost of his brother that survives in the rumors and songs of the people.
