Tettari

Usage and Forms

Singular Tettar, plural Tettari, adjective Tettaran. Their world is the moon Tettera.

Biology and Technological Level

A humanoid people with four fingered hands. Their technology includes basic metallurgy simple machines and hydraulic systems without large scale mechanization weapons military technology or fortifications. The Tettari were a small people numbering between forty and seventy thousand. They lived in small towns and villages mainly as farmers and craftsmen with a few traders. They followed the Heptad.

Social Organization

Peaceful communities that emphasize cooperation and mutual support. Kinship structures extend from the extended family to the clan and to the confederation. Daily life is collective with shared labor reconciliation rituals and strong disapproval of arbitrary authority.

Governance

Open assemblies community approved rules and mandatory accountability for temporary leaders. Terms are short and concentration of power is viewed as a pathology. Some traditions mention a faint early influence from the Corpers although evidence is disputed.

Genocide

During the war between the SUN and the LAP a Syndarion scout discovered a moon later named Tettera where the Tettari lived. What followed was an unprecedented massacre. At the height of the SUN and LAP conflict a joint force with human commanders from both sides and robot troops executed an order of total extermination. There was no resistance only slaughter. The Corpers arrived shortly after destroying the robots with energy beams but they were too late to save the Tettari.

Rescue Dispersal and Hiding

After the Tettera Moon the Corpers organized escape routes for survivors into hidden regions. Some families reached Olmara settling in remote zones of Lastor. They lived in small mobile villages cultivating narrow strips of land invisible from above shifting location periodically and using markings recognizable only to them. Supplies were moved through discreet aid networks with couriers that could be vetted.

Cultural Memory

The Tettari preserve their language songs and rituals that honor fellowship and the frailty of power. Stories about assemblies short terms and accountability form the core of their identity. In hidden forest communities survivors teach children to observe silently and to endure unseen until it is safe to stand in the light.

Relations with the Corpers

The Corpers act as unseen protectors and mediators maintaining secret routes shelters and supply lines. Some Tettari revere them as saviors others keep their distance believing help came too late. One shared belief remains, without the Corpers the memory of the Tettari would have vanished.

Present and Future

The Tettari now live in scattered small communities some within Syndarion zones others in neutral or hidden regions and a few in secret settlements on Olmara Lastor and beyond. Their aim is to raise children who will keep their language and traditions alive until they can return to the light.
