Dael Droven
Overview
Dael Droven was a general of the Liberal Alliance of Planets and one of the most prominent officers during the war with the Syndarion Union. He represented the sobriety and strategic intelligence of the Alliance and operated with careful thought and strict moral discipline. His presence during the events on the Tettera satellite placed him at the center of one of the most significant technological turns in human history, the first mass deployment of military robots.
Role and Collaboration
As a general of the LAP he coordinated operations in joint missions with allied forces including SUN. He worked with Kenrai Shoraku of the Syndarion Union but remained distant and analytical. He understood the political and economic dimension behind every military decision. His diplomatic presence made him valuable in allied conferences yet he was a difficult partner for anyone seeking fast or easy victories.
Character and Behavior
Droven was known for his cold stare and reserved demeanor. He did not raise his voice but his presence carried authority. He saw war as a necessary evil and not a field of glory. He believed that power and technology should serve humanity and not replace it. His decisions were shaped by logic rather than anger or fanaticism which made him respected but also isolated in military circles.
The Tettera Demo
During the tests of the military robots on the Tettera satellite Droven attended as the senior representative of the LAP. Together with SUN General Kenrai Shoraku he supervised the field testing of combat units in real conditions. The machines performed with precision but early mistakes revealed a lack of judgment and awareness. Droven observed their behavior with attention and recorded every fault. He believed the experiment exposed human greed more than the capabilities of the machines.
View on Technology and War
Droven quickly understood that robot soldiers were not simply a technological evolution but a financial project guided by industrial and banking interests, most notably the Central Stellar Bank. He believed that replacing human soldiers with machines would weaken the sense of responsibility and turn war into a tool of commercial control. He did not oppose the program openly but his reports to LAP command revealed his concern about the loss of moral balance.
Legacy
Dael Droven is remembered as a commander with foresight and restraint. Later analyses describe his stance on military robots as prophetic. He warned that governments would become dependent on the corporations and financial groups that funded the war. In the political and military history of the LAP his name is cited as an example of clarity and moral realism.
