Coritha
Overview
Coritha is a neighboring country of Lastor on the planet Olmara governed by an aristocratic clan based oligarchy. Its capital is Kehrea and near it lies the Keldar military camp.

Government
Coritha is governed by the Council of Clans the COC a body of nine members. Seven are appointed by the aristocratic clans and two are selected every two years by lottery from candidates of the non aristocratic clans. The council functions as the executive the legislature and the highest judicial authority for matters involving clans and large economic groups.
Clans
Clan lords act as CEOs managing collective wealth. In most clans the position is hereditary but in some it is chosen annually by open voice vote which creates political tension.
About one third of the population does not belong to any clan consisting of independent business owners employees artists and professionals. These along with the non aristocratic clans continually press for political reform.

Military
Corithian society is highly militarized. Clan members by ancient tradition serve also as defenders of their clan. After completing military service all citizens men and women join local reserve units that function as militia. They train once per Ennead each year and keep their uniform and weapon at home.

- Civil Security Service CSS the civil police. Many citizens believe it stands for Coritha Security Service.
- Secret Military Service SMS Tagma the covert military police.
- Corithian Military Police CMP the standard military police.
- Corithian Intelligence Service CIS the intelligence and counter espionage service.
Secret Military Service
The Secret Military Service known as the Tagma is the special military branch responsible for enforcing discipline within the armed forces. Its jurisdiction ranges from routine identity and travel permit checks to investigations of major violations and counter espionage operations.
External Relations
Coritha is a member of the Liberal Alliance of Planets although some clans lean toward the Sorestian Empire. It is also a member of the Olmara Planetary Council like nearly all countries of Olmara.
History
Before the major war between the LAP and Syndarion Coritha fought a short war with Lastor.
Society and Culture
Cities are digitally monitored although less strictly than in Lastor. Rural regions contain towns and farms owned either by clans or private citizens.
Coritha has strong cultural production including poetry music literature sculpture and painting. Architecture is neoclassical built in stone and marble. Buildings rarely exceed three floors except for administrative towers in Kehrea.
Kehrea
Kehrea is the capital of Coritha a city of rare beauty known for its stone and marble architecture its large wooden gates and its finely crafted window frames. Most buildings do not exceed three stories except in the center where administrative towers such as that of the Council of Clans rise above the streets.
Unlike Lastor the streets have neither neon signs nor holographic advertisements preserving a sense of ancient refinement. Despite technological parity with other states Kehrea maintains a conservative and traditional atmosphere.
Keldar
Keldar is a Corithian military camp located on the outskirts of Kehrea. It is one of the few camps that remained close to the capital after an old military uprising since most were relocated to the countryside.
The camp was named after a heroic millor of the past whose deeds are rarely recorded by the Military History Service as if his memory could reignite old passions. Here Markan Venar serves as centor.
Notes
Coritha presents a blend of aristocratic stability and latent political tension. Its clan based system continues to define social identity military obligation and economic power while the push for reform grows steadily among non aristocratic groups. The cultural elegance of Kehrea and the disciplined environment of Keldar illustrate the balance between tradition and controlled military vigilance that shapes Coritha’s role in Olmara.
